I'm in search of a Kensington lock to protect my Oct.2009 21.5" iMac whilst it's in use in AV at an event, but am having trouble finding one. Nearly all the ones I come across say they're for laptops in both their name and description - but I can't for the life of me understand why they wouldn't fit my iMac's Kensington lock!

Can you help me with this? Cheers.

If your iMac has a Kensington slot, it will definitely work.
