My Macbook heats up when using flash sites. The fan starts going and it can become really noisy - so much so that I can't hear the sound from the site! This happens even when I quit all of my other applications, but still it stays the same…
Do you have any tips on reducing this problem?

This is actually pretty typical on the MacBook unfortunately. My wife’s sounds like it’s warming up for take off when she plays Flash videos (like YouTube).

Early MacBooks were heavily criticized because of this and while it’s gotten better with later models, it’s really only the very newest ones that seem to have the issue licked.
